Managed switch EDS-505A-MM-SC-T differs from a basic model with 2 100 Base FX optical ports with SC slots provided for connection of multi-mode fiber to transfer data over distances up to 5 km. The switch supports intelligent functions of management, control and extended network security, that, together with a shock-proof housing, makes the device an ideal solution for industrial automation purposes. The letter "T" in the product name explains that the device is capable of withstanding extreme temperatures: from -40 to 75 °C. The optical ports of the Ethernet switch EDS-505A-MM-SC-T discover new opportunities for communication with remote objects or a central workstation.
