The IGS-10020PT is an industrial PoE+ Layer 3 Ethernet switch capable of integrating up to eight IP devices into the local network. Optionally, it can be redundantly and high-bandwidth connected via dual SFP fiber optics to central IoT and IT systems over long distances.


The switch features eight 10/100/1000 Gbit/s RJ45 LAN interfaces that fully support the 802.3af Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) standard and the extended 802.3at PoE+ specification. Thanks to its powerful power supply with 240 or 480 watts, the industrial switch enables full utilization of 36 watts on each LAN port. Additionally, power-intensive IP devices can be operated over all lines in parallel with a stable output voltage. The IGS-10020PT delivers a maximum data throughput of 26 Gbps bandwidth and up to 19.34 Mpps (million packets per second) thanks to its store-and-forward architecture.


In addition to eight RJ45 LAN ports with PoE+, the IGS-10020PT also features two SFP connections in a compact mini-GBIC format as redundant uplinks and downlinks with 2.5 Gbps to central servers located several kilometers away. The Ethernet switch has an RJ45 terminal that enables connection to M2M systems and centralized management via Serial COM RS232, including network configuration. The IGS-10020PT is also equipped with an integrated DI/DO that provides two channels each for input and output, allowing direct interaction with external actuators, sensors, or circuits.


The IGS-10020PT is designed for use in harsh environments and weatherproof installation in outdoor areas. It is certified for operation within an extremely wide temperature range from -40° Celsius to +75° Celsius. High reliability in critical systems can be easily ensured via redundant connections to the network and power supply. The IGS-10020PT is a Layer 3 managed switch that supports various standards, such as Quality of Service (QoS) to optimize data transmission, and virtual client isolation via address- or protocol-based VLAN. It is suitable for all applications in stationary IoT and IP networks, such as video surveillance, multimedia information systems, thin clients, and automated embedded structures.
