DP412-4GT-LV
PoE+ Switch with 1.2 GHz ARM CPU, 2 GB DDR3 RAM, 8x PoE+ RJ45 LAN Downlink, 4x GbE LAN Uplink
The rugged PoE+ Switch DP412-4GT-LV offers a robust and reliable interface between IP devices and central servers and enables secure power supply for peripherals via PoE+ in environments with unstable power sources, such as vehicles, in order to realize autonomous and, if necessary, self-sufficient and fail-safe IT structures in harsh conditions.
As a Layer 3 managed switch, the DP412-4GT-LV features an ARM Cortex A9 processor with a clock speed of 1.2 GHz, which manages the gateway actively and supports various functions such as dynamic packet inspection using ARP and Layer 3/4 filtering. This includes, for example, passive firewalling, DHCP snooping, configurable IPv4/IPv6 access control lists, and support for central password authentication via RADIUS or TACACS+. The DP412-4GT-LV managed Ethernet switch also acts as a router in local networks and as a DHCP server for connected IP devices, assigning addresses and functioning as the primary DNS and gateway for external connections.
In terms of interfaces, the DP412-4GT-LV Ethernet Switch provides eight RJ45 PoE+ ports with 10/100/1000 Mbps for peripheral devices and four additional GbE LAN ports for uplink or integration into redundant network topologies such as ring, star, or tree. Thanks to the integrated PoE booster, the DP412-4GT-LV can operate with a minimum input voltage of 12 VDC and boosts this to the PoE standard of 57 VDC. In accordance with PoE+ 802.3at/af standards, the industrial switch offers an output of up to 30 watts per port or a total of 120 watts when powered with a stable 24 VDC input.
The DP412-4GT-LV is designed for use in harsh environments and tolerates extreme temperatures from -40° Celsius to +70° Celsius, with a low failure risk of over 500,000 operating hours MTBF. Its IP30-protected enclosure is suitable for DIN-rail mounting in tight spaces such as control cabinets and allows flexible combination with additional IT infrastructure such as PoE switches or embedded servers. Key application areas include mobile IT infrastructure in vehicles or logistics, video surveillance, and industrial or technical process management in manufacturing, scientific research, or services such as telecommunications.
