MEVA-3111E embedded box PC uses Intel Core i3/i5/i7, up to 64 GB DDR4 RAM, 4x SATA drive bay, triple LAN, 8x USB, 6x COM With an Intel Core i3/i5/i7 processor from the 8th or 9th generation, the MEVA-3111E embedded box PC combines extensive scalability with a high potential of computing power, which is suitable for tasks such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), but also for classic automation or optical machine vision due to its numerous interfaces including USB 3.2 and Serial COM RS232/422/485. To accommodate the processor, the MEVA-3111E uses an LGA1151 socket that supports Intel Core i3/i5/i7 desktop CPUs with a power of up to 65 watts TDP to achieve broad compatibility and scalability of the system. It is complemented by a RAM of maximum 64GB DDR4 in parallel dual channel mode and up to four SATA SSD/HDD in 2.5'' drive bays as well as mSATA via M.2 or Mini PCI Express. Interfaces include eight ports for USB - six of them in USB 3.2 standard, six COM ports in RS232/422/485 with Auto Flow Control via DB9, a 16 bit GPIO and Triple LAN with Gigabit Ethernet. Via an expansion slot in PCI Express x16, the embedded box PC MEVA-3111E can also be equipped with a dedicated graphics card as coprocessor for AI applications. The application spectrum thus ranges from powerful IoT gateways and servers to specialized high-performance embedded box PCs for data-intensive tasks such as optical quality management, video surveillance or smart factories in Industry 4.0.
