EACIL20-100-A432 Dual Core IoT Gateway features 4GB DDR3 RAM, dual LAN, 2x USB, HDMI 1080p, 32GB SSD, modular design The EACIL20-100-A432 is a modular, expandable IoT gateway with an Intel Apollo Lake N3350 CPU, 32GB eMMC storage, and a 4GB LPDDR3 RAM. In addition to a dual LAN, the fanless embedded device allows networking via WWAN or equipping with additional I/O such as Serial COM, GPIO or CAN bus with electrical isolation. The EACIL20-100-A432 high-performance IoT supports high-computation applications with an Apollo Lake processor-based Intel N3350 CPU released in the fall of 2016. It utilizes a 14nm based dual core architecture with a low base clock of 1.10 GHz for high energy efficiency and a burst rate that can be increased to 2.40 GHz for temporary utilization. To enable real-time computation, the IoT Gateway also relies on an extremely fast 4 GB DDR3 RAM with a 1866 MHz bus. In addition to an internal eMMC memory from 32 GB to 128 GB, the optional expansion of an mSATA SSD with a maximum of 1 GB is possible for data-intensive applications. The native I/O of the IoT Gateway includes, for example, two ports for USB 3.0, dual LAN with Gigabit Ethernet and RJ45 connection and an HDMI output for graphical representation with 1080p Full HD. The modular design of the EACIL20-100-A432 allows expansion of these interfaces via Mini PCI Express Expansion Cards and optional additions such as 3G/4G WWAN, Isolated Ports for Multiple Serial COM RS23/422/485, a GPIO with 24-bit or dual CAN bus. In addition to the various IoT devices, the Embedded Fanless Gateway integrates additional peripherals directly into the IT environment and ensures immediate access to sensors, actuators and external circuits. The EACIL20-100-A432 provides lateral screw connections and optional kits for VESA or DIN Rail for mounting in various locations, including wall mount or support rails. The ambient temperature in a continuous operation is between -15° Celsius and 55° Celsius with a relative humidity of maximum 90 percent. As a power supply, the Embedded IoT Gateway uses a variable voltage between 9 VDC and 36 VDC via a 2 pin terminal block.
