Highly configurable embedded box system Tensor-PC 120A with different housing variants, Intel Xeon, Core-i or Celeron CPU of the 9th generation, up to 64GB RAM, wide range of modules to configure the choice of interfaces With 18 different chassis variants and nearly two dozen different plug-in modules that can be combined in a variety of ways to configure the selection of I/O interfaces, expansion slots, power supply, network connections and mass storage, Compulab's new embedded PC Tensor-PC 120A offers a previously unknown level of customization-ability. Highly up-to-date processors from Intel's 9th CPU generation, ranging from Celeron and Core-i to representatives from the Xeon class, also offer high scalability of computing power and adaptability to various tasks and applications. The most outstanding feature is the open design of the computer. Housing variants are available in two widths, three heights and with three different heat sink designs, which can be equipped with a number of modules, so-called TELs (Tensor Elements), depending on the size. This determines the type of power supply and the configuration with different mass storage types and expansion slots. In addition, the TELs offer the possibility of designing the interface equipment almost freely and flexibly. In the largest possible housing, for example, a configuration with over 40 USB ports would be possible. Other TEL variants include different network connections via Gbit Ethernet, PoE and SFP+ for fiber optic connections, serial COM interfaces, GPIO, CAN, audio, HDMI, DisplayPort, USB2.0 and 3.0. Mass storage options available via the TEL modules include M.2, mSATA and 2.5" drive bays. TEL modules for expansion cards include M.2 Key E and Key B, miniPCIe and SIM. For power supply, TELs are available with fixed 12VDC-in, wide range DC inputs and modules for power balancing if multiple inputs are to be used simultaneously or redundantly. Thanks to its outstanding flexibility and adaptability, the Tensor-PC 120A is particularly versatile, whether in automated production for process control, visualization, quality control, local data acquisition and analysis as well as in network technology and server operation.
