Nexcom NISE-3600CP2E Embedded Box PC uses Intel Core i3/i5/i7, up to 16 GB DDR4 RAM, 2xPCIe, Dual LAN, 6xCOM, 6xUSB, M.2 With two slots for extension cards in PCI Express x4 and PCI and support for a wide range of Intel Core i3/i5/i7 processors, the Nexcom NISE-3600CP2E is one model of a series of universal, highly customizable and scalable embedded box PCs that feature a fanless rugged design for high-performance industrial IT systems in adverse environments. The fanless Nexcom NISE-3600CP2E can be equipped with passively cooled Intel Core i3/i5/i7 CPUs (Gen. 6 to Gen. 9) from cost-efficient Dual Core to powerful Octa Core to best suit its tasks and computing load. As main memory, the Embedded Box PC uses up to 16 GB DDR4 RAM on two banks, which allows the modules to be operated in the faster Dual Channel Mode. Interfaces for the network and peripheral hardware include dual LAN with 10/100/1000 Mbit/s, two serial COM ports RS232/422/485 via DB9, four COM RS232 via an included DB44 adapter cable to four times DB9 as well as six USB interfaces. A 2.5'' drive bay and an mSATA M.2 extension slot for fast SSD media are available for mass storage.
