BPC-3080-1A1, a fanless Intel Core i5 "Whiskylake" Embedded PC with up to 32 GB DDR4 RAM, Dual LAN, 4xUSB 3.1, 4xCOM A problem of many fanless and compact embedded PCs is that they are optimized for low power consumption and cost-effective operation 24/7/365, but less for sufficient performance during peak loads - the BPC-3080-1A1 meets this challenge with an Intel Core i5-8265U from the 8th generation Whiskylake and up to 32 GB DDR4 RAM as main memory. To allow a flexible compromise between efficiency and computing power, the BPC-3080-1A1 uses an 8th generation Whiskylake Intel Core i5-8265U from the mobile segment of processors. This allows to more than double its basic clock rate from 1.60 GHz to 3.90 GHz in Turbo Boost Mode. The storage media used also include a fast dual channel memory with up to 32 GB DDR4 RAM and a SATA 3.0 SSD/HDD in a 2.5" drive bay as well as M.2 2280 for SATA SSD. As a multifunctional and fanless compact embedded PC, the BPC-3080-1A1 uses varied and easily accessible interfaces for I/O, including quad USB 3.1 and Dual LAN on the rear panel and four Serial COMs and USB 2.0 and 8-bit GPIO on the front. The BPC-3080-1A1 can be installed by desk/wall mount and the Intel Core i5 Whiskylake CPU makes it suitable for a wide range of applications including factory automation and smart production, intelligent processing of images and videos (e.g. in medicine applications), digital signage, surveillance or data analysis.
