The VES 31-4SR/VES 31-8SR are unmanaged mobile PoE switches specifically designed for telematics applications in rugged environments. These switches feature a fanless, dustproof enclosure and offer 6/10 Gigabit Ethernet ports, including 4/8 IEEE 802.3af/at compliant PoE+ ports, enabling the smooth and fast transmission of large volumes of video, voice, and critical data across the Ethernet network.

Designed for train applications, the switches support a wide voltage input range of 9VDC to 36VDC, making them compatible with 24VDC power systems commonly found in trains. The VES 31-4SR/VES 31-8SR models also feature advanced power management, including low battery voltage protection, power-on and power-off delay timers, and automatic ignition power on/off functions. These features ensure reliable operation and help prevent premature failure of both the PoE switches and the trains they serve.

Compact and easy to install, the VES 31-4SR/VES 31-8SR switches support optional DIN rail mounting and are built to withstand shock, vibration, and extreme temperatures ranging from -40 to 70°C, making them ideal for use with PD devices like IP cameras and Wi-Fi access points.
