The Industrial Managed PoE Media Converter IMC-1000WS-PB allows seamless integration of IP devices—from surveillance cameras to embedded PCs—into local networks over long distances via SFP fiber, while simultaneously supplying up to 90 W of PoE++ power without a separate power feed.


The IMC-1000WS-PB enables direct integration of external devices—including IT gateways such as switches or wireless access points—into LAN infrastructures. Supporting 100/1000Base-X SFP standards, the managed media converter ensures ultra-low-latency data transmission over multiple kilometers. Optional industrial SFP transceivers are available for lossless communication up to 30 km. For the local network, it provides an RJ45 Gigabit LAN port (10/100/1000 Mbps) with auto-negotiation for optimized signal quality.


As an industrial PoE++ media converter for high-security applications, the IMC-1000WS-PB supports standards and protocols such as Flow Control, Link Fault Pass Through (LFTP), Simple Network Time Protocol (SNTP), and Quality of Service (QoS). PoE, PoE+, or PoE++ power delivery of up to 90 W is provided over the LAN cable. An intuitive web interface offers easy configuration of port enabling, VLANs, bandwidth limits, and PoE settings.


With its rugged design and wide operating range of –20 °C to +70 °C, the IMC-1000WS-PB delivers reliable performance under harsh conditions and boasts an MTBF of over 1,150,000 hours. Redundant power inputs accept 44–57 V DC and are protected against reverse polarity and overvoltage. Mounting options include DIN-rail or an optional wall-mount kit. Typical applications include remote monitoring of IP devices (e.g., video surveillance), industrial process management, intelligent transportation systems (ITS), and connecting external networks to local IT infrastructures in commercial or military settings.
