Unmanaged Ethernet switch EDS-P206A-4PoE by MOXA is an economically efficient solution for construction of Fast Ethernet industrial networks on the basis of PoE devices. The switch is provided with 6 ports of 10/100 Base TX standard. Despite rather low price, 4 out of 6 ports support POE+ technology and are capable of supplying power over a network cable in the increased power mode - up to 30 W per each port. This amount is enough even for power-hungry industrial devices: outdoor IP cameras with cleaning and heating, highly-efficient access points, rugged IP telephony units. 6-Port PoE switch EDS-P206A-4PoE: description and features: IEEE 802.3af/at standards support PoE/PoE+ technologies. IEEE 802.3u ensures operation at high rate of up to 100 Mbit/s and provides auto negotiation with previous protocol versions. IEEE 802.3x Flow Control secures direct and backward flow control in half-duplex and full-duplex communication modes (prevents loss). There is protection against broadcast storm caused by equipment failure or wrong network topology (double-throw switch). The dual power supply circuit provides uninterruptible operation and uses the expanded input voltage range: 20…60 V DC, which facilitates the choice of the power supply source. Consumption current: 7.5 A at 30 W load on each of 4 ports. The device is housed in a fanless metal chassis that rates IP 30 and protects from solid particles ingress, shocks and vibrations (МЭК-60068 / IEC 60068). Dimensions: 54х135х105. UL-508, EN-55022, EN-61000-4, FCC certificates testify safety, compatibility, as well as static discharges and electromagnetic interference protection.
