10-Port Ethernet switch EDS-P510 houses 3 copper ports of 10/100 Base TX standard, 4 ports with support of Power-Over-Ethernet technology, 3 full-featured Gigabit combo ports of 10/100/1000 Base TX or 100/1000 Base SFP standard, 2 discrete input channels and 2 relay outputs for alarm notifications. Such configuration makes this model a perfectly balanced solution for integration of numerous devices in industrial networks, for supplying power over a network cable, and building redundancy rings and accessing highway communication channels. Layer 2 managed switch EDS-P510 by MOXA: description and features: 3 Gigabit ports serve the Gigabit Turbo Ring redundancy protocol and provide access to the Gigabit Uplink optical channel (transmission distance is up to 80 km, interference immunity). Each of 4 PoE ports provides up to 15.4 W of power to supply the connected clients (IEEE 802.3af). Smart PoE functions: type auto detection, power control, scheduled power supply, troubleshooting. Voltage: 46…50 V DC. Power consumption: 77.76 W (1.62 A at 48 V). The power supply redundancy secures failure-free operation. EMS Level 3 certificates: EN 55022, FCC 15B, IEC 61000-4. The switch conforms to IPv6 requirements, it is compatible with EtherNet/IP, Modbus/TCP industrial protocols. Multi-level remote management and pro-active monitoring: SNMPv3, RMON. There is support of network security (TACACS+, 802.1X, HTTPS, SSH), synchronization and prioritizing (1588PTPv2, QoS), traffic optimization (VLAN, GVRP, IGMP, GMRP, LACP). The device is provided in the fanless metal chassis that conforms to IP30 (80х135х105). It is protected from shocks, vibrations, static discharges, surges and electromagnetic interference. Mean time between failures (MTBF) - around 25 years. Versatile communication opportunities allow applying the MOXA’s EDS-P510 industrial switch for nearly any industrial automation tasks, from constructing the independent network segments to creating Gigabit backbones. The alternative configuration modes make the setup process easy and convenient. The device provides a web browser, a command line interface (CLI), a Telnet/Serial console, a Windows utility, ABC-01 configurator.
