PoE switch EDS-P510-T is a trustworthy choice of a managed switch with support of communication redundancy standards and PoE technology. The device houses 7 Fast Ethernet 10/100 Base TX ports and 3 Gigabit combo ports with RJ-45 or SFP slots for connection of optical modules. 4 out of 7 LAN ports support Power-Over-Ethernet technology and can supply power to the connected clients over a network cable. The letter ‘T’ in the product mane stands for the device ability for failure-free operation at critical temperatures. MOXA’s switch EDS-P510-T: description and features: Thanks to single-mode optical fiber, the Gigabit ports can transfer a signal over the distance of up to 80 km. Moreover, high interference immunity is ensured. Power capacity of each PoE port: 15.4 W. Input voltage: 46…50 V. Power consumption at full load: 77.76 W (1.62 A at 48 V). The power supply redundancy secures uninterruptible operation. There are built-in innovative Smart PoE functions: auto detection of a device type and choosing the required power, failure diagnosis and client restart, scheduled power supply (PoE-scheduling). There is support of intelligent protocols on management, monitoring, traffic optimization and extended network security. SNMP v1/v2/v2, RMON, IGMP, VLAN, QoS, IEEE 802.x, HTTPS, SSH. The innovative design solutions have contributed to the increased operating temperature range spanned from -40 to +75 °С, which allows you to deploy the switch both in hot shops, and outdoors during a winter season. Mean time between failures (MTBF standard) is 23 years. The ports of MOXA’s EDS-P510-T switch can simultaneously serve Gigabit Turbo Ring redundancy protocol (20 ms for a network of 250 switches) and provide Gigabit Uplink route. Smart PoE technical solutions ensure complete compatibility and offer convenient tools for setup, management and diagnostics.
