Teltonika Networks has added five products covering embedded cellular connectivity, Fixed Wireless Access, transportation, network time synchronisation and business Wi-Fi. The CALYX EBD070, Altos CAP700, ATRM50, NTP001 and TAP400 address different networking requirements, from integrating 5G RedCap into Raspberry Pi systems to providing rugged 5G connectivity for transportation applications.
CALYX EBD070: 5G RedCap for Raspberry Pi
The EBD070 is the 5G RedCap variant of the Teltonika CALYX embedded cellular platform. Designed as a Raspberry Pi HAT+, it provides cellular connectivity for Raspberry Pi 4 and Raspberry Pi 5 systems.
The module mounts directly on the Raspberry Pi and includes GPIO modem control and PCM audio support. The EBD070 is intended for developers and system integrators adding compact cellular connectivity to Raspberry Pi-based systems.
Altos CAP700: 5G Fixed Wireless Access with Wi-Fi 7
The CAP700, offered under the Teltonika Altos product name, combines 5G cellular connectivity with Wi-Fi 7. It is designed for Fixed Wireless Access (FWA) deployments where mobile broadband provides an alternative to a fixed-line connection.
The CAP700 is based on Teltonika RutOS and can be managed through the Remote Management System (RMS). This combination brings 5G connectivity, Wi-Fi 7 and remote administration together in a single router platform.
ATRM50: 5G connectivity for transportation
The ATRM50 eSIM is a rugged 5G router developed for transportation applications. It features four M12 X-coded Gigabit Ethernet ports and an M12 A-coded power input. These locking connectors are suited to installations exposed to vibration and frequent movement.
The router supports cellular data rates of up to 3.4 Gbps and combines dual SIM with eSIM for failover, backup WAN and other SIM-switching scenarios. Certifications include EN 50155, EN 45545-2 and ITxPT, making the ATRM50 particularly relevant to railway and other transportation projects.
NTP001: GNSS-based Stratum-1 time synchronisation
The NTP001 is a Stratum-1 NTP server for applications requiring a common, UTC-traceable network time source. Using GNSS, it provides time synchronisation without relying on an Internet-based time source.
Interfaces include one 10/100 Mbps Ethernet port, RS232, RS485, three digital inputs, three digital outputs and one analogue input. The NTP001 distributes network time over Ethernet. Its serial interfaces and I/O connections support additional integration and communication functions.
TAP400: Wi-Fi 6 with a 2.5 GbE uplink
The TAP400 is a Wi-Fi 6 access point designed for SMB network environments. Its dedicated 2.5 GbE uplink provides additional wired backhaul capacity compared with a standard Gigabit Ethernet connection.
The access point supports Fast Roaming and Wi-Fi Mesh for deployments with multiple access points and flexible coverage expansion. Configuration, monitoring and troubleshooting can also be handled remotely through Teltonika RMS.
Different platforms for different connectivity requirements
The five products cover distinctly different connectivity tasks: embedded cellular integration, 5G Fixed Wireless Access, transportation networking, GNSS-based network time synchronisation and managed business Wi-Fi. IPC2U supplies all five products and supports customers in selecting the appropriate platform based on the required interfaces, deployment environment, certifications and management functions.
