Wincomm has extended its WMP-xxS series of medical panel PCs with Intel Core Series 2 (Bartlett Lake-S) processors. The update covers the 19-inch WMP-19S, 21.5-inch WMP-22S and 23.8-inch WMP-24S.
The WMP-xxS systems support processor configurations with a TDP of up to 35 W. Depending on the model and configuration, they can use integrated Intel graphics or an optional dedicated NVIDIA MXM GPU.
CPU and GPU configuration
The systems use the Intel Q670E chipset and provide two DDR5-5600 SODIMM sockets for up to 96 GB of dual-channel, non-ECC memory.
Optional NVIDIA MXM GPUs from the RTX PRO and RTX A series are available for local AI processing and GPU-accelerated medical imaging.
Video capture and expansion
A PCIe x4 expansion slot with a maximum power budget of 40 W supports add-in hardware. Wincomm also provides a GPI interface for controlling compatible video capture cards, while M.2 interfaces support NVMe storage and additional modules.
For external video sources, the systems provide an HDMI input with RGB colour adjustment. Network connectivity includes 2.5GbE and Gigabit Ethernet with Intel AMT/vPro support.
An optional UPS battery is also available.
The platform is suitable for medical imaging and image-based diagnostic or surgical systems. Suitability for a specific application depends on the selected CPU, GPU and capture configuration.

All three models use projected capacitive 10-point multi-touch displays. The front is rated IP65, while IPX1 is specified for the complete system. The systems also feature an antibacterial plastic housing.
Wincomm lists IEC/EN 60601-1 and IEC/EN 60601-1-2 in the certification specifications for the WMP-xxS series. The certification scope must be verified for the selected configuration and target market.
