The YB3x-Series comprises a scalable selection of versatile and flexible fanless edge embedded servers in a space-saving 1U format, featuring an energy-efficient design based on Intel Atom C3000 CPUs and a variable number of network interfaces including SFP+ and 10 GbE RJ45 ports.

For high computing performance within a rugged fanless design, the models of the YB3x-Series use various processors from Intel’s Atom C3000 "Denverton" family and support CPUs with two to sixteen cores. The memory supports up to 128 GB DDR4 RAM via parallel dual channel architecture and uses server-grade ECC (Error Correction Code) to ensure maximum data integrity. As storage media, the YB3x-Series optionally uses one or two SSDs, with each supported by an M.2 extension slot for SATA3 or NVMe. This combination ensures wide compatibility with different hardware and allows optimized storage configurations, including redundant RAID setups or physical separation of system and user data.

All YB3x-Series models feature rich native I/O, including four USB 3.0 ports, dual serial COM RS232, and CAN bus interfaces for communication with external circuits. An optional DisplayPort (DP) output enables high-resolution display or touchscreen connections. A key feature of the YB3x-Series is the distribution of networking interfaces across two independent modules, allowing flexible and customized combinations of SFP+ ports for fiber optics and Ethernet LAN via electromagnetic wiring. The base configuration includes two or six Gigabit RJ45 ports and can be extended with two to eight SFP+ ports, four 10 GbE RJ45 ports, or dual LAN in both SFP+ and RJ45 formats. Additionally, the YB3x-Series supports wireless network access via 3G/4G/5G WWAN, WLAN 802.11 ac/ad, and Bluetooth 5.0 for communication with peripheral devices.

With its rugged, fanless design, the YB3x-Series is also suitable for uninterrupted operation in harsh conditions and can be mounted as an in-vehicle PC. Three variants are available, differing in their temperature tolerance, with the Industrial Grade version supporting an extended range from -40° Celsius to +72° Celsius. The complete absence of mechanical components provides resistance to shock, vibration, and sudden impacts, enabling continuous 24/7/365 operation without the need for maintenance or hardware replacement. Installation is simple thanks to a 1U enclosure chassis, suitable for standard mount spaces or 19'' server racks.

With these specifications, the YB3x-Series belongs to a new generation of high-performance, rugged edge servers that can be flexibly customized and tailored to specialized environments. Example use cases include industrial, commercial, or private IoT solutions, local signal acquisition and processing via computationally intensive AI models, and interface management between radio, LAN, and long-distance fiber networks in telecommunications.
