Serial interface server for connection of auxiliary devices with a serial interface to public networks. The programmable device server NPort 6250-M-SC by MOXA is provided in a robust metal housing with 1 Ethernet port and 2 RS-232/422/485 ports. The device is available in wall and DIN-rail mounting configurations. It enables operation with protocols: SMTP, SNMPv1/v2c/v3, BootP, HTTP using Telnet, PPPoE, ICMP, TCP, UDP, DHCP, DNS, ARP. The operation modes can be set up by means of Telnet, a console port, or a Web-interface. It is compatible with all operating systems. It is applied for operation within a temperature range of 0 ... 55°C.
