The 10.4'' TFT LCD touch screen of the FM10 has a resolution of 1024x768 pixels and is suitable for the clear representation of GUIs, tables or road maps due to the technical format 4:3 and the brightness of 400 cd/m². A 1.91 GHz Intel Atom E3845 quad-core processor with a 8 GB expandable fast 1600 MHz DDR3L low-energy RAM ensure a liquid performance, even under high computing conditions. In addition to a 64 GB SSD, the data memory of the FM10 can be expanded individually via SDHC memory cards. Interfaces to the outside include 2xCOM RS232 for serial communication, USB 2.0 and USB 3.0 as digital interfaces, CAN port for monitoring electronic parameters and PoE+Ethernet LAN for IP devices. In addition to wireless connectivity via Bluetooth, WLAN 802.11 and GPS, the IP65 Rugged Vehicle PC can be optionally supplemented by other standards such as RFID or 4G LTE. The tasks of the FM10 include navigation, positioning and communication as part of an optimized fleet management, user interface for multimedia and vehicle electronics or mobile data acquisition.
