The processor of the PC-compatible Microsoft Windows 10 IoT controller is an Intel Atom E3845 Quad Core CPU with a clock frequency of 1.91GHz, which acts as a central instance to coordinate the individual modules. For these, the SBC/PAC controller provides seven expansion slots that enable individual configuration of the hardware. Storage media include an onboard 4GB DDR3 RAM and a CF socket with a pre-installed SSD of 32GB and a 64GB mSATA flash memory for the operating system.
