The rugged IoT LTE router WR322GR-WLAN+LTE-EUX-2C provides optimal conditions for building powerful and redundant IT infrastructures in harsh environments. With 3G UMTS/4G LTE, WLAN 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Serial COM, and Dual GbE LAN, it enables reliable and versatile networking where high security and flexibility are required.


Thanks to a powerful, modern dual-core CPU clocked at 800 MHz and an optimized Linux real-time operating system (RTOS), the WR322GR-WLAN+LTE-EUX-2C offers above-average performance for an industrial IoT router. The high computing power of the IIoT device allows it to handle numerous tasks in parallel—such as firewall, multicast data streams via GRE tunneling, or virtual private networks (VPN) via IPSec AES256 or OpenVPN—without affecting bandwidth, response time, or latency, even in complex and widely distributed networks. Thanks to its integrated options, the WR322GR-WLAN+LTE-EUX-2C also supports integration with public cloud services like Amazon AWS and Microsoft Azure Cloud Server or private clouds such as ThingMaster OTA.


The native inputs and outputs of the WR322GR-WLAN+LTE-EUX-2C include two Nano SIM slots for redundant or distributed WAN connections, dual RJ45 LAN with 10/100/1000 Mbps, Serial COM RS232/422/485 via classic DB9 connector, and a 6-bit digital input/output with electrical isolation. To enable intensive data logging in security-critical or system-relevant environments, the rugged industrial IoT router features a Micro SD slot as an external storage medium. Remote management and monitoring of the WR322GR-WLAN+LTE-EUX-2C are possible via various protocols and interfaces. In addition to a user-friendly web GUI, the IIoT router supports Telnet, FTP, SNMP v1/v2c/v3, DHCP, and DDNS, for example.


The fanless and maintenance-free design of the WR322GR-WLAN+LTE-EUX-2C has been developed to meet the requirements for safe and reliable operation in demanding environmental conditions and complies with various certifications for use in railway applications. The operating temperature range is extremely wide, from -40° Celsius to +70° Celsius. Thanks to its versatility and extremely high reliability of over 200,000 hours MTBF, the WR322GR-WLAN+LTE-EUX-2C is suitable for mobile IIoT infrastructures in mobile environments as well as for stationary installations in Industry 4.0. It is also ideally suited for tasks such as video surveillance or setting up distributed WLAN networks in private or public areas.
