With the IVS-802GT-8PH24, users gain access to a modern, reliable, and high-performance solution for integrating various IP devices into vehicles with power supply via Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) in accordance with European and international standards. It allows for maximum fail-safety through redundant power supply and network connectivity.
The native I/O of the IVS-802GT-8PH24 includes eight PoE+ 802.3af/at RJ45 ports as downlink for various IP devices and dual GbE LAN for a fail-safe uplink to embedded servers or a central IT gateway. The power supply ranges from 9.6 VDC to 57 VDC and, if necessary, is boosted to the PoE-defined standard of 52 VDC using a high-efficiency booster with less than 6 percent power loss. Thanks to additional stabilization of the output voltage, the IVS-802GT-8PH24 enables the use of the maximum Base-T Ethernet cable length of up to 100 meters, even with unstable power sources.
The IVS-802GT-8PH24 is an unmanaged Ethernet switch that requires no additional configuration beyond connecting the Cat 5e/6 UTP LAN cables and power supply. For high bandwidth, data integrity, and minimal latency within the network, this efficient IT gateway uses an architecture with 5.6 Gbps throughput and supports various features such as flow control, 4K MAC address table, and jumbo frames up to 9K.
