ITP-802GTM-8PHE24-X
L2 Managed PoE Ethernet Switch provides 8xPoE+ BASE-T LAN, Dual SFP BASE-X, IP67 Rugged Design, 180 Watt PoE Output
The ITP-802GTM-8PHE24-X belongs to a series of industrial managed PoE switches that serve as gateways between wide-spread IT structures with SFP fiber optics and local RJ45 networks as well as IP devices, and are designed for use under extremely harsh conditions due to their rugged design.
For maximum flexibility in application, the Layer 2 PoE switch ITP-802GTM-8PHE24-X uses a combination of eight 10/100 BASE-T Fast Ethernet ports for LAN and two SFP BASE-X interfaces, which can be used as uplink and downlink for remote endpoints. Supported standards in branched networks include the Spanning Tree Protocols STP, RSTP, and MSTP, as well as the Ethernet Ring Protection Protocol (ERPS), to realize fail-safe and multiple redundant topologies such as ring or star structures. With support for 9.6 KB jumbo frames, the ITP-802GTM-8PHE24-X is also suitable for the fast, continuous transmission of large data volumes such as streams in video surveillance.
As native I/O, the industrial switch ITP-802GTM-8PHE24-X provides eight M12 interfaces for CAT 5/6 LAN cables, dual fiber optic Code X UTP/SFP port, and Serial COM RS232 as a console. Power supply for IP devices via Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) complies with PoE IEEE 802.3af or PoE+ 802.3at standards and enables an output of up to 30 watts per port, up to a maximum peak of 180 watts per single switch. When supplied via industrial 24/48 VDC direct current, the ITP-802GTM-8PHE24-X uses an integrated energy booster that stably raises the voltage to the 50 VDC standard defined by PoE.
With a rugged design featuring full sealing according to IP67, including I/O via M12 screw connections, the ITP-802GTM-8PHE24-X ensures functionality even under temporary submersion. Thanks to optional redundant power supply and a high mean time between failures (MTBF) of over 362,000 hours for uninterrupted operation, the managed PoE Ethernet switch is also suitable for system- and safety-critical IT infrastructure. Key application areas of the ITP-802GTM-8PHE24-X include process automation, digital signage such as information systems, and IoT applications like video surveillance or traffic monitoring.
