IGS-6329-8UP2S2X
Layer 3 Managed Ethernet Switch with 2x GbE SFP, 2x 10 Gbit SFP+, 8x PoE++ RJ45 LAN, Dual Power, PoE Scheduling
With its rugged, fanless design and a high number of interfaces, the IGS-6329-8UP2S2X is an ideal choice for building a high-performance and fail-safe IT infrastructure. It is based on a Layer 3 managed Ethernet switch with integrated PoE++ power supply for connected IP devices, supporting heterogeneous communication technologies.
The IGS-6329-8UP2S2X offers eight RJ45 10/100/1000BASE-T Ethernet ports, along with two 1000BASE-SX/LX/BX SFP and two 10GBASE-SR/LR SFP+ ports. All RJ45 LAN ports support integrated power delivery via 802.3bt PoE++ with up to 95 watts per port and a total maximum output of 360 watts for the entire managed Ethernet switch. By combining copper and fiber optic cabling, the IGS-6329-8UP2S2X enables the creation of complex network architectures: a local GbE LAN for IP devices within a 100-meter radius, an internal SFP fiber backbone for server uplinks, and secure connections to external gateways up to ten kilometers away.
The IGS-6329-8UP2S2X is designed for deployment in harsh environments and prioritizes continuous reliability and performance for 24/7/365 uninterrupted operation without the need for regular maintenance. To this end, the L3 managed switch features redundant power supplies with active monitoring against failures and operates fanlessly within a wide temperature range of -40° Celsius to +75° Celsius. The Ethernet ports support auto-detection of connected devices, including their power consumption and availability, and are protected against power surges of up to 6 kV.
As a Layer 2 and Layer 3 managed Ethernet switch, the IGS-6329-8UP2S2X supports various protocols and features, including RIPv2, OSPFv2, and OSPFv3 for dynamic routing, as well as Quality-of-Service (QoS) for signal prioritization. PoE scheduling also allows for automatic time-based control of power delivery to connected devices, maximizing energy efficiency and reducing operating costs in complex systems. Thanks to its design, the IGS-6329-8UP2S2X offers versatile applications ranging from industrial environments and smart factories to telecommunications, offices, and commercial services sectors.
