The IGS-4804SM offers 48 Base-T GbE RJ45 ports and four 1000Base-X SFP interfaces in a compact 1U rackmount chassis, enabling the deployment of complex, fault‐tolerant networks between local LANs and remote sites via fiber.


For efficient, lossless data transfer, the IGS-4804SM uses 128 MB of ROM and 2 GB of RAM for configuration, packet buffering, and log storage. High‐throughput tasks, such as HD video surveillance, benefit from jumbo frames up to 10 KB. The store-and-forward architecture ensures zero-loss forwarding with minimal latency and CPU load, delivering up to 104 Gbps aggregate throughput—ideal for data centers, LANs, IoT deployments, and automation systems.


I/O includes 48 independent 10/100/1000 Mbps RJ45 ports and four GbE SFP Base-X slots for fiber connectivity. This combination supports secure, redundant topology options—such as Spanning Tree Protocol (STP), Ethernet Ring Protection Switching (ERPS), u-Ring, and u-Chain. For remote management, the IGS-4804SM provides an RS232 console port via RJ45.


Its rugged, fanless design operates from –10 °C to +60 °C, making the IGS-4804SM suitable for harsh environments, unheated enclosures, or vehicle installations. Certified to MIL-HDBK-217 and EN 61000 standards, it achieves an MTBF exceeding 90,000 hours. Dual power inputs with 24 V DC alarm relay output ensure resilient power delivery. These features make it ideal for big data networks, industrial and commercial LANs, telecom infrastructure, and IoT topologies.
