EDS-510А-3SFP in designed by MOXA specially for industrial engineers for integration of Gigabit standards of communication redundancy. The device refers to managed core switches with 10 ports. 3 ports out of 10 comply with Gigabit SFP standard on connection of devices over an optical channel. We advise you to use 2 Gigabit ports for innovative Gigabit Turbo Ring Ethernet protocol, the other one - for Uplink. Doing so, you will significantly increase the speed and improve faultless performance. If one of the segments switches off, any complex network that includes up to 250 switches will come back to normal operation in 20 ms. Switch EDS-510A-3SFP: description and features: LACP protocol creates up to 6 parallel channels (up to 8 ports for each) for traffic optimization and redistribution, RMON (remote management) provides comprehensive information about a device status and access to performance settings. Bandwidth restriction helps to avoid broadcast storms caused by incorrect topology or device failure, and protects the network from overloads. Port mirroring allows you to make sure the segments behave as they are supposed to, whereas, 2 signal outputs will inform you about any difficulties and problems appeared.
