Unmanaged switch EDS-305-S-SC-80. Unlike the basic model, the industrial switch EDS-305-S-SC-80 by MOXA features one SC port for transmission of data over single-mode fiber at the greater distances of up to 80 km. This switch would be a perfect solution for you, if it is required to communicate with a remote object in an existing infrastructure, but you cannot afford buying a full-featured fiber optic switch. A compact industrial grade chassis with protection that rates IP30 features not only 8 Ethernet ports, but also a redundant power supply circuit, a discrete channel, a simple indication system, as well as electronic components protected from electromagnetic exposure. The device can be mounted on a DIN-rail or a wall. Network switch EDS-305-S-SC-80: description and features: High speed operation and auto negotiation with previous protocol versions are provided by 802.3u standard. Taking into account its abilities, the device can be characterized by minimum power consumption and requires 3.12 W only (0.13 A at 24 V). The wide range of input voltage prevents you from buying additional equipment for switch integration into a network. The device features wide operating temperature (up to 60 °C) and humidity (up to 95%) range, that enables you to deploy the switch in industrial conditions. Minimum storage temperature is -40 °С, i.e. you can place the device in any unmanned room. You can operate the switch in the explosive hazardous atmospheres of oil and gas recovery industry (UL/cUL Class I Division 2 and ATEX Zone 2 certificates), whereas, DNV and GL certificates confirm its marine application. A single-mode optical port of EDS-305-S-SC-80 switch ensures high speed connection to remote infrastructure objects and Turbo Ring network topologies. The ultimate reliability of the device is confirmed by the security certificates and mean time between failures (MTBF standard) of over 30 years.
