If WAN1 link and/or ping to a certain host is failed, then the device switches to WAN2. What will happed when WAN1 is recovered, will the router switch from WAN2 to WAN1?

If you set WAN2 as a "Backup", the logics will be as follows:

1. Regular mode: WAN1 is a default route, WAN2 is disabled.
2. Abnormal mode (the link or ping to WAN1 is lost): WAN2 is enabled and becomes the default route.
3. If WAN1 is recovered, WAN2 will be switched off and all returns back to the regular mode.

Managed switches of EDS-400A series are the basic series of switches.

EDS-500A series additionally support the following features: LACP Port Trunking, 802.1X, IEEE 1588 PTP V1, have the second relay output and two digital inputs.

1. To increase the reliability index and prolong the power supply unit life cycle, we offer you to use a PSU with 30% power reserve. For example, if a device requires 100W then it would be better to choose a power supply unit for 130W or more.
2. When choosing a power supply unit, it is necessary to consider the ambient temperature. At high temperatures the output power of a power supply unit is reduced. The same is true in the case of low temperatures. In the specification, you can find the diagram showing how the ambient temperature affects the output power.
3. To supply a device with a wide range of input voltage, we recommend you to use the average voltage value. For example, MOXA switches support the input voltage ranged from 12 to 48V, so we advise you to avoid using a power supply unit close either to the lower limit (12V DC) or to the upper limit (48V DC). This will help you to prevent the switch failure in cases of overvoltage of more than 48V or unstable operation if the voltage drops below 12V.
