Axiomtek is preparing to launch the new MANO330 industrial motherboard in the Thin Mini‑ITX form factor. Designed for industrial and embedded applications, the new board combines a compact footprint, reliable operation, and flexible integration capabilities. It is well suited for a wide range of applications, including industrial automation, digital kiosks, machine vision systems, intelligent transportation, medical equipment, self-service terminals, and other embedded solutions.
MANO330 will be available in two versions: the MANO330‑N150‑S and the MANO330‑N97‑S. The primary difference between the two models is the onboard processor. The Intel N150 is designed for maximum energy efficiency, making it an excellent choice for low-power, fanless embedded systems. The Intel N97, on the other hand, delivers higher sustained performance thanks to its higher power limit — approximately 12 W compared to 6 W for the N150. In short-duration workloads, the performance difference is relatively small, as both processors feature four Efficient-cores (E-cores) with boost frequencies of up to 3.6 GHz. However, under prolonged workloads — such as data processing, multitasking, video streaming, or industrial software applications — the Intel N97 is able to maintain higher clock speeds for longer periods, resulting in better overall performance.
If your application prioritizes the lowest possible power consumption and minimal heat generation, the N150 is the ideal choice. If additional processing headroom is required and higher thermal output is acceptable, the N97 is the better option. Among the key features of the new MANO330 are its modern hardware platform, comprehensive industrial connectivity, and flexible expansion options designed for reliable, long-life embedded systems. The motherboard is equipped with HDMI and DisplayPort video outputs, dual Gigabit LAN ports, four USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports, COM serial interfaces, audio jacks, and internal connectors including SATA, USB 2.0, LVDS, DIO/GPIO, and front-panel headers. To support a wide range of applications, the board also provides a PCIe x1 slot and M.2 Key M, Key E, and Key B sockets, enabling the installation of NVMe or SATA SSDs, wireless communication modules, and LTE/5G modems. Thanks to its Thin Mini‑ITX form factor, the MANO330 is well suited for compact chassis while still offering ample connectivity for peripherals, storage devices, and industrial expansion.
