OTD140 — 4G Outdoor Router
The OTD140 is Teltonika Networks' first purpose-built outdoor router. It features a dedicated IP55-rated plastic housing (PC+ASA) with an integrated mounting bracket, meaning it can be installed directly at the deployment point without an additional outdoor enclosure. This makes it a strong fit for CCTV cameras, sensors, lift stations, and wind or solar installations that lack sheltered cabinets.
Connectivity is handled through 4G LTE Cat 4 with fallback to 3G and 2G, backed by dual SIM auto-failover so the connection can switch operators automatically if the primary link degrades. Two PoE Ethernet ports — one PoE-in and one PoE-out — let the router both receive power over a single cable and, in turn, power an end device such as a camera, removing the need for separate power runs in outdoor installations.
On the software side, the OTD140 runs RutOS and supports key industrial protocols including Modbus, MQTT, and SNMP. Note that the device does not include built-in Wi-Fi; for solutions that also need wireless coverage, Teltonika recommends pairing it with an access point such as the TAP100 or TAP200. Like the rest of the portfolio, it is fully compatible with RMS for remote access and fleet management.
RUT206 — Compact Industrial 4G Router
The RUT206 is a compact industrial router built around serial connectivity, making it well suited for uniting new and legacy equipment on a single network. It provides both RS232 and RS485 interfaces alongside two Ethernet ports and Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g/n), giving installers flexibility for wired, wireless, and serial integration in one device.
Power flexibility is another core strength: the RUT206 accepts both active and passive PoE, in addition to its standard 2-pin power input, simplifying deployment where a dedicated power supply isn't practical. A microSD slot adds expandable local data storage, and dual SIM slots give the router failover redundancy in case the primary mobile connection is interrupted.
Running RutOS, the RUT206 supports M2M protocols such as Modbus, DNP3, and DLMS — a common requirement in industrial automation, energy, and transportation projects where the router needs to bridge modern IP networks with older serial-based machinery. Full RMS compatibility rounds out the remote management capabilities.
RUTM20 GLOBAL eSIM — Compact Global 5G Router
The RUTM20 GLOBAL eSIM targets deployments where both size and global carrier coverage matter. Built around a global Telit 5G Sub-6GHz modem, it supports 5G SA/NSA download speeds of up to 2.5/3.4 Gbps and uploads of up to 900/550 Mbps, with backward compatibility down to LTE Cat 19 and 3G for broader network coverage where 5G isn't yet available.
Connectivity redundancy comes from two physical 2FF SIM slots plus an embedded consumer-type eSIM supporting up to seven downloadable profiles, enabling remote carrier switching without a site visit. Auto-switch logic covers common failure scenarios such as weak signal, data or SMS limits, roaming, and network denial. Active PoE input and output allow the router to be powered and to power a connected device over a single cable, which is a key advantage for the space-constrained enclosures typical of POS terminals and surveillance kits.
Wireless coverage is handled by dual-band 802.11b/g/n/ac Wave 2 Wi-Fi with MU-MIMO. Like the rest of the range, it runs RutOS and integrates with RMS for centralized fleet monitoring and configuration — well suited to retail, transportation, and other footprint-sensitive IoT rollouts.
RUTX50 eSIM — Industrial 5G Router
The RUTX50 eSIM is built for high-throughput, data-intensive industrial connectivity. It delivers 5G Sub-6GHz SA/NSA speeds of up to 2.1/3.3 Gbps download (4x4 MIMO) and 900/600 Mbps upload (2x2), with backward compatibility to LTE Cat 20 (up to 2.0 Gbps download) and 3G, ensuring long-term usability as networks evolve.
Five Gigabit Ethernet ports and dual-band Wi-Fi provide ample wired and wireless capacity for gateway-style deployments where the router serves multiple downstream devices. Dual SIM plus a consumer-type eSIM (up to seven profiles) supports automatic failover across a wide range of trigger conditions, including weak signal, data/SMS limits, roaming, and connection failure — giving the RUTX50 strong resilience for mission-critical links.
The router also includes GPS for location-aware applications and supports an extensive protocol set, including Modbus TCP with custom register block requests, multiple VPN types, and a documented API for integration with custom monitoring systems. Combined with RMS, RutOS, and backward-compatible interfaces, the RUTX50 is designed for long-term expandability in demanding industrial environments.
SWM280 — 24-Port PoE+ Managed Switch
The SWM280 is a powerful Layer 2 managed switch with Layer 3 features, offering 24 total ports: 12 PoE+ ports, 12 Gigabit Ethernet ports, and 4 SFP ports for fiber uplinks. Each PoE+ port can supply up to 30 W, with a total switch-wide power budget of 300 W — enough to power a substantial fleet of cameras, access points, or other PoE-powered devices from a single unit.
Beyond raw port count, the SWM280 supports PROFINET and other industrial protocols, along with VLAN configuration for network segmentation and traffic isolation — important for keeping guest, device, and management traffic properly separated on larger networks. Configuration and monitoring run through TswOS, Teltonika's dedicated operating system for managed switches.
The SWM280 is fully compatible with RMS, allowing administrators to monitor switch status, diagnose issues, and manage connected devices remotely. New units ship with 24 months of complimentary RMS credits, making it straightforward to test centralized management from day one. Typical use cases include EV charging infrastructure, large-scale enterprise and campus networks, and any deployment where a single switch needs to power and connect a large number of endpoints.
TRB256 GLOBAL — Industrial NB-IoT Gateway
The TRB256 GLOBAL is a compact industrial gateway purpose-built for low-power, wide-coverage IoT applications. It supports 4G LTE Cat M1 alongside NB1, NB2, and LTE-M technologies, making it well suited to smart metering, telemetry, and predictive maintenance scenarios where devices need reliable but infrequent connectivity rather than high bandwidth.
A standout feature is support for the 450 MHz frequency band, which offers notably better signal penetration than standard cellular frequencies — useful in rural areas, locations with physical obstructions, or facilities using legacy machinery. The gateway is housed in rugged black aluminium housing (83 x 25 x 74.2 mm) and includes an I/O connector block, RS232, RS485, and an Ethernet port, alongside dual SIM support with automatic failover.
The TRB256 GLOBAL runs RutOS and supports a broad protocol set including Modbus, DNP3, DLMS, OPC UA, and BACnet — covering manufacturing, utilities, and building automation use cases. Combined with RMS compatibility and a wide operating temperature range, it's designed to keep remote, hard-to-reach sensor networks online with minimal on-site maintenance.
TSW100 — Unmanaged PoE+ Ethernet Switch
The TSW100 is an unmanaged Gigabit Ethernet switch designed to centralize power delivery for PoE devices without the complexity of switch management. It offers five Gigabit Ethernet ports, four of which support IEEE 802.3af/802.3at Power-over-Ethernet, supplying up to 30 W per port.
As a power source equipment (PSE) device, the TSW100 reduces installation effort by letting data and power travel over the same cable to connected devices such as cameras, access points, or sensors. Because it is unmanaged, there is no software or web interface to configure — it operates purely through built-in switching and PoE logic, making it a straightforward, economical option where a full managed switch isn't required.
The standard power supply included with the TSW100 provides roughly 65 W, which limits the practical PoE budget to around 60 W across the four PoE ports; a higher-capacity power supply (above 130 W) is needed to reach the switch's maximum 120 W PoE budget. This makes the TSW100 a good economical fit for smaller industrial Ethernet segments that need reliable, no-configuration PoE distribution.
