The PDX3-090T-8A is a purpose-built industrial panel PC designed for 24/7 continuous operation in environments that would compromise consumer or commercial-grade hardware. It is powered by the DM&P Vortex86DX3 SoC running at 1 GHz — a fully x86-compatible processor engineered for long-lifecycle embedded deployments. The fanless thermal design eliminates rotating parts entirely, removing the most common single point of failure in panel computers and making the unit suitable for dusty, greasy, or chemically contaminated industrial air. With 1 GB or 2 GB of onboard DDR3 memory and CompactFlash-based storage, the platform is optimized for deterministic, low-overhead control tasks where stability over years of runtime matters more than peak throughput.

The 9" TFT LCD panel delivers a 1024 × 600 resolution at 300 nits standard brightness, with a 500:1 contrast ratio and wide viewing angles of 140° horizontal and 120° vertical — practical figures for operator panels mounted at varying heights in control cabinets or on machinery. An optional high-brightness 600 nit configuration is available for installations with strong ambient lighting. The front panel carries an IP65 ingress protection rating, meaning it is sealed against dust particles and protected against water jets from any direction — a necessary baseline for washdown environments, food processing areas, or outdoor-facing enclosures. Touchscreen input is available in two configurations: standard analog resistive, which operates reliably with gloved hands and styluses, or optional projected capacitive for multi-touch and more responsive modern-HMI workflows.

Industrial connectivity is handled through a combination of a single RS-232/RS-422/RS-485 multi-mode serial port, a 10/100M Ethernet port, and two USB 2.0 ports — covering the communication interfaces that dominate factory-floor and transportation-system deployments where legacy PLCs, barcode scanners, RFID readers, and serial-protocol sensors remain in service. Storage options extend beyond the onboard CompactFlash slot to include an optional MicroSD socket and up to 4 GB of soldered Flash memory, providing flexibility for different OS and data-logging strategies.
