The new generation keeps the reliability of the NPort 6000 series while implementing new capabilities for monitoring and diagnostics.
Previously, diagnostic functionality included: port status, connections, and the number of errors.
The new generation of serial interface series offers expanded diagnostic capabilities. Real-time network traffic monitoring is now available for each port, allowing you to see exactly what data is being transmitted and received. Traffic can be exported for analysis and error detection.
It's worth noting that booting takes less than 8 seconds, which is approximately 30% faster, reducing downtime. Data transfer latency has also been reduced, improving system stability and increasing industrial network reliability.
To simplify the configuration of the Real COM mode, the DSU-G2 utility is provided.
It is worth noting that the physical characteristics of the new generation NPort 6000-G2 models have been optimized. Two installation methods are available, allowing the system to be tailored to specific operating conditions:
- Classic mounting for control cabinets
- Side mounting for compact models where space is limited.
