The iKERN-1810-AC80 combines fanless operation with a 19-inch rackmount chassis only 1U high. The compact system accommodates Intel Core Ultra processors, an integrated 200 W power supply and optional PCIe expansion. It is designed for projects that require processing performance, expandability and low-maintenance operation within limited rack space.

Core Ultra Performance in a 1U Chassis
The standard configuration combines an Intel Core Ultra 5 245T with 8 GB DDR5 memory and a 256 GB NVMe SSD. The Core Ultra 5 225T, Core Ultra 7 265T and Core Ultra 9 285T are also available.
Two SO-DIMM sockets support up to 96 GB DDR5. The M.2 M-key slot accepts M.2 2280 NVMe SSDs and provides a PCIe x4 connection. DisplayPort, HDMI and USB-C with DisplayPort Alt Mode provide flexible monitor connectivity.
Network and Serial Connectivity
Two 2.5 GbE ports provide network connectivity. Each port uses a dedicated Intel I226-IT controller and can operate independently. This makes it possible, for example, to connect machine and plant networks through separate physical interfaces.
Four DB9 ports support RS-232, RS-422 and RS-485, while four external USB 3.2 Type-A ports connect additional peripherals. Two M.2 B-key slots are available for optional expansion.
PCIe Expansion in a Compact Chassis
An optional riser card adds a PCIe 5.0 x16 slot. It accommodates single-slot, half-length cards with a maximum power consumption of 75 W. Additional interfaces or application-specific functions can therefore be added without moving to a larger chassis.
Fanless Operation with an Integrated Power Supply
The aluminium chassis measures 483.7 mm wide, 44.3 mm high and 397.3 mm deep. The IPC2U configuration is specified for an operating temperature range of 0 to 45 °C.
The integrated 200 W power supply accepts input voltages from 100 to 240 VAC. No external power adapter is required, simplifying installation, keeping rack cabling organised and eliminating the need to secure a separate power supply.
Fanless operation removes fan noise and the need to maintain a cooling fan. The computer also occupies only one rack unit, leaving more space for switches, measurement equipment, storage or additional control components.
Designed for Stationary 19-Inch Systems
The iKERN-1810-AC80 is particularly suitable for stationary control, visualisation and data acquisition systems as well as industrial communication tasks. Its main advantage is not tied to one specific application, but to the combination of high processing performance, fanless operation and installation in an existing 19-inch rack.
