Axiomtek has introduced the new rugged embedded computer tBOX210, specifically designed for railway transportation, rolling stock, and intelligent video surveillance systems, including Network Video Recorders (NVRs). The new platform has received key international certifications, including EN 50155, EN 45545-2, and NFPA 130. These certifications confirm that the computer is suitable for railway applications and meets stringent requirements for fire safety, vibration resistance, and protection against electromagnetic interference (EMI) and voltage surges in accordance with EN 50121-3-2 and IEC 62236-3-2 standards.

At the heart of the tBOX210 is an LGA1700 socket based on the Intel Q670E chipset. The platform supports Intel Core i3, i5, i7, and i9 processors, as well as Celeron processors from the 12th, 13th, and 14th generations, with a TDP of up to 35 W. The memory subsystem features a single DDR5 SO-DIMM slot, supporting up to 32 GB of RAM.

One of the key features of the tBOX210 is its full compatibility with the onboard power networks used in Railways rolling stock and metro systems. The computer is equipped with a reliable M12 connector and supports a wide input voltage range of 24 to 110 V DC. In addition, the system features Smart Ignition intelligent power management technology, which protects the equipment against voltage fluctuations and ensures proper system startup and shutdown when a train or metro train is powered on or off.

The combination of high-performance 14th-generation Intel processors, industrial-grade protection, railway certifications, and flexible power management makes the Axiomtek tBOX210 a suitable platform for demanding railway applications, including onboard video surveillance, NVR systems, passenger information systems, and other intelligent transportation solutions.
