RUGGEDCOM-M2200 19'' MIL-STD Rugged L2 Managed Switch with eight 10/100/1000BASE-T Ethernet ports, ROS, 255 VLANs, 64 Kb MAC Table The RUGGEDCOM-M2200 is one of the compact Layer 2 Fully Managed Ethernet Switches with eight Ethernet 10/100/1000BASE-T Micro-D ports for use in environments where excellent performance, high performance, high failure safety according to MIL-STD as well as comfortable installation and configuration are indispensable. The RUGGEDCOM-M2200 features not only an unusually wide temperature tolerance of -40°Celsius to +85°Celsius, but also a robust IP40 aluminum chassis and a low-noise, technical design. Because of this combination, the Industrial Ethernet Switch is certified against the military standards MIL-STD 167 for vibration, 461 against electromagnetic impulses (EMI), 1399 against magnetic interference fields, 810 for thermal loads and 901D against vibrations. The installed functions include PPP communication, STP/RSTP/MSTP redundancy, SNTP client and server, VLAN to 255 subnets and 64 Kb MAC table for up to 8192 addresses. For configuration, the RUGGEDCOM-M2200 provides SSH, Telnet or a graphical web interface. By using a Rugged Operation System (ROS), the industry L2 Managed Switch is also designed for the software level for a maximum performance of 18 Gbps with 7 S latency. The RUGGEDCOM-M2200 is a compact, robust solution for industrial and commercial networks in a variety of environments including automation, video surveillance, offices and data centers.
