Converter MGate MB3280. The protocol gateway MGate MB3280 is designed by MOXA to ensure data exchange between industrial devices that use different interfaces (RS-232/422/485, Ethernet) and data transfer protocols (Modbus RTU/ASCII, Modbus TCP). The converter differs from the basic model in a greater number of COM-ports(2 pcs) that support any serial standard and capable to interact with up to 62 slave devices. Protocol converter MGate MB3280: description and features: COM-ports (2 pcs): RS-232/422/485. Rate: from 50 bit/s up to 921.6 Kbit/s. Slots: 2хDB9M. Fast Ethernet port: 10/100 Mbit/s. Slot: RJ-45. Interface type auto detection: Auto MDI/MDIX. Operation modes: Modbus RTU Slave/Master, Modbus ASCII Slave/Master, Modbus TCP. Maximum amount of devices: 16 TCP masters, 32 TCP slaves, 62 RTU/ASCII slaves. Each serial port can be configured separately to various speed modes and protocols (RTU/ASCII), thus, providing parallel integration of two types of networks into Modbus TCP. There is an integrated platform of detection and management of MOXA devices (MXview), routing function (Smart Routing) and automatic data direction control (ADDC). The fanless metal housing of small dimensions (22х77х111) protects the electronic components from mechanical damage and provides several mounting options: a wall, a DIN-rail. The standard safety level and electromagnetic protection from voltage spikes, impulse interference that are testified by the international certificates: CE, FCC, UL/EN-60950-1, EN-55022/55024/61000-4.
