I-7510 RS485 Repeater with 3000VDC Isolation, RS485 COM Input and Output, up to 115200bps Baud Rate, DIN Rail The I-7510 repeater is used to increase the range for RS485 Serial COM and features full compatibility with industrial standards at a bandwidth of 300bps up to 115200bps to enable secure and stable communication between the H2M or M2M computer and peripheral devices. The I-7510 repeater is a compact module with a rugged design that is equally suitable for local mounting on transmitters or receivers or as a remote communication interface between two nodes. For hardware safety during operation, it features two-way optical isolation that absorbs voltage spikes up to 3000 Volts DC. The repeater uses an external power supply and tolerates voltages between 10 Volts DC to 30 Volts DC. For convenient and safe installation, the module supports DIN-rail mounting, allowing complex systems to be implemented in minimal spaces such as control cabinets. With its robust design and a very wide temperature range of -25° Celsius to +75° Celsius in operational use, the repeater supports use in harsh environments. In addition to the original range extension application, other uses include extending RS485 systems beyond the usual 256-node limit.
