The new modules M-7058-16, M-7058D-16 and M-7059-16, M-7059D-16 are designed to monitor and transmit information about the presence of alternating or direct voltage in an electrical network via the Modbus RTU/DCON communication protocol (RS-485 bus), and also to control external electrical load with two digital output channels.


Application examples

These modules can be used in traffic light control systems, in which, after turning on the corresponding traffic signal, a confirmation is sent to the operator's console. These systems can be used not only for city traffic lights, bit also traffic lights for parking lots, and even for railway tracks.




These modules can also be used to monitor the presence of voltage in various electrical lines, both in the residential sector and in industry for monitoring or controlling electrical cable breakage.


Main features of M-7058-16, M-7058D-16 and M-7059-16, M-7059D-16 modules:

  • Direct connection of up to 16 points of line voltage (control of the presence/absence of line voltage is provided)
  • Individual indication of enabling/disabling of each channel
  • Built-in 16-bit counter for digital inputs with a maximum frequency of 100Hz and min. pulse length 5ms
  • Built-in ± 4kV ESD protection, ± 2kV overvoltage protection, and 3750V internal isolation
  • Possibility to control electrical load up to 600mA, 50V using two discrete output channels
  • Low current consumption at discrete control inputs (no more than 1.5mA at 250V AC), which allows monitoring the presence of voltage on a group of differential circuit breakers (RCD)
  • Supports two communication protocols: Modbus RTU, DCON
  • Free software for module configuration
  • Designed for mounting on a standard 35mm DIN rail

Discrete input channels on all modules can also be used as 16-bit counters, recording pulses with a pulse length of 5ms and a frequency of up to 100Hz.

M-7058D-16 and M-7059D-16 have on/off LED indicators for each channel.
