Powerful AIoT computing platform for extreme conditions
MC-1220 computers are based on 7th generation Kaby Lake CPUs. They offer a slot for an internal 2.5" SATA drive, 2 slots for up to 32GB total SODIMM DDR4 memory, and 3 mini PCIe slots for various expansion modules, including wireless Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 3G, LTE, GPS supporting up to 4 SIM cards. One of the mPCIe slots supports the SATA interface, which allows you to install an additional mSATA drive, which can also be set bootable for the operating system.
Hardware acceleration unit (VPU) can be installed to accelerate machine vision algorithms, and Intel® OpenVINO™ toolkit for developing AIoT applications is supported.
In field applications, wireless communication is required for continuous communication with the control center. MC-1220 computers offer multiple Wi-Fi/cellular connectivity options, eliminating the need for an additional wireless gateway. Besides, the computing platform implements TPM 2.0 technology, which provides information security at the hardware level.
Due to the application specifics, the MC-1220 is designed in such a way that all the main interfaces are brought out to the front panel of the computer, wh ere there are 3 USB 3.0 ports, 2x DB9 RS-232/422/485, 2x GbE LAN with RJ-45 connectors, HDMI with 3840 x 2160 image output and five connectors for wireless antennas, and also six LEDs indicating the system operation. On the top side of the device, there is a three-pin terminal block to connect a 9-36V DC power supply, a ground connector, a power button, and a hard reset button.
