Axiomtek is adding two more facets to its line of fully rugged stainless steel panel PCs with the GOT-812W-511-C-DC and GOT-815W-511-C-DC . The PCs comply with protection class IP66/IP69K over the entire housing together with interfaces with waterproof and robust M12 connectors and feature a capacitive multi-touch touchscreen (P-CAP). Optionally, it can also be replaced by a resistive touchscreen if desired.
The PC is equipped with a dual-core Intel Core i5-7300U Kaby Lake generation CPU, which is clocked with a base frequency of 2.60GHz, but can be boosted to 3.50GHz to catch performance peaks. This allows a high-performance potential when it is needed, while at the same time operating economically in standard situations. A single slot is provided for installing the memory, which can accommodate up to 16GB of DDR4-RAM modules. An HDD/SSD for data storage in classic 2.5" format offers high customization potential in terms of read/write speed and capacity depending on the application. It is also possible to install expansion modules such as WiFi, Bluetooth or 4G modules in two MiniPCIe slots.
With their stainless steel housings, high robustness, water resistance and wide operating temperature range, the GOT-812W-511-C-DC and GOT-815W-511-C-DC are suitable for a range of applications that go beyond the horizon of usual panel PCs. These include outdoor applications such as construction sites, public information terminals etc., as well as specialty applications such as food and beverage processing, cold storage, pharmaceutical industry, vehicle wash lines, and more.
