IEI, one of the market leaders in industrial automation solutions, has announced an affordable and compact computer for creating artificial intelligence applications - IDS-310AI.
The new PC is a ready-made computing solution with an integrated Mustang-MPCIE-MX2 machine vision processing unit based on two Intel Movidius Myraid X MA2485. IDS-310AI features an Intel Celeron J3455 CPU with 1.5GHz (up to 2.3GHz maximum) frequency, Intel HD Graphics 500, 8GB of DDR3L 1600MHz RAM, and 128 GB of Innodisk SATADOM-SH industrial storage.
The IDS-310AI fanless housing is made of aluminum and has a DIN rail mount option. The PC features a standard set of I/O ports and can operate in an ambient temperature of -20 to 45C with vibration, shock and power surges.
Front panel I/O interfaces:

- 3 HDMI 1.4b ports for displays

Additionally, there is 1 slot for a microSD memory card on the side panel of the PC.
For data storage, you can use the pre-installed 128 GB SSD SATADOM or an external microSD memory card. Wi-Fi and 3G/4G wireless communication modules can be installed in the M.2 2230 A key slot (PCIe x1/USB 2.0 signal).
The IDS-310AI has rather compact dimensions of just 137x102.8x49.2 mm and fits easily in the palm of your hand. Compact size allows you to mount the PC in almost any confined space.
IDS-310AI supports Windows 10 and Linux Ubuntu 16.04 LTS operating systems.
