One of the main factors – CPU. This is the Quadcore Whisky Lake i5-8265U CPU with a base frequency of just 1.60GHz, which means low running costs and low heat emission, but with the capability to speed up frequency up to almost 250% (3.9 GHz) if needed. It is almost twice performant as the Intel Dual Core i5-7200U, but with the same power loss of just 15W!
All of these models are available in 15”, 17”, 19” LED Panel sizes with either P-CAP or 5-wire Resistive touch. Also, P-CAP can be calibrated to the use with gloves. Thanks to the IP65 front panel, the PPC-N1x8-Serie have 2x HDMI ports with 4K resolution (in result – can be used three independent displays), four USB 3.1 gen 2, four serial ports (3x RS232, 1x RS232/422/485), 2x GbE LAN ports (with Intel® i219V and Intel® i211AT controllers), and 8-pin Digital I/O, Mic In, Line Out. As expansion slots, there are 1x Mini PCIe full size and 1x M.2 B/M key 2280.
Summing up, we can conclude that these products PPC-N158, PPC-N178, PPC-198, are suitable for a lot of applications with high performance, with low performance, for different environments (hot, cold, harsh). They are easy maintenance and replacement (which means low down times).
