Rugged tablet and laptop maker Twinhead International Corporation announced the start of sales of its well-proven model Durabook R11L , upgraded to Durabook R11L-G2. This rugged tablet PC comes with a higher water resistance rating of IP66 and a high-performance 12th generation processor codenamed Alder Lake - Intel Pentium Gold 8505.
The use of the new processor has significantly improved the performance of the updated tablet. According to Twinhead International Corporation, the performance of the new Durabook R11L-G2 tablet PC went up 300% fr om its predecessor and 600% from tablets based on Intel Atom processors, making it a one-stop solution for public service applications such as transportation, security, utilities, and more.
The new Durabook R11L-G2 model in particular, is a lite version of the Durabook R11L tablet but not without all the advantages of the hi-end model. For example, the new Durabook R11L-G2 features a 11.6” 10-point capacitive multitouch display with DynaVue technology and optional brightness up to 1000nits, making it easy to read in direct sunlight. In addition, the touch screen sensor has also received improvements compared to the first generation. Now the sensor mode is customizable - there is support for working with gloves, a stylus, in the rain and with a finger. And stylus is now a standard option included in the package.
Like all tablets of the Durabook brand, the new model can be equipped with a variety of additional ports, readers, and scanners. Expansion options include:
