I have several Modbus RTU devices to be polled. I can use several Modbus commands to get the data from registers, but it takes too much time. Is the gateway capable of receiving data actively and merging it into a single register to obtain all data using a single Modbus command?
For a gateway to receive data from several Modbus RTU devices actively and put it in a single register, the gateway agent must store the data in the internal memory. The gateway must also poll all Modbus RTU devices one after another. All data will be located in a single block in the gateway internal memory, so you can obtain it with a single read command.
