How many simultaneous connections does NPort support?
NPort of the 5000 series supports up to 4 simultaneous connections.
NPort 5000A (Advanced), NPort 6000 or higher series support up to 8 simultaneous connections.

To find out how many simultaneous connections your NPort supports, you can look at Max connection parameter.
Note, that if several PCs have an access to a single port (i.e, Max connection parameter is more than 1), than a COM port driver provides data transmission only. In this case, the COM port parameters (baudrate, parity, etc.) set in your application will not work on a PC, as you need to set those parameters directly on NPort (via a web interface or a utility program).
Moreover, if one of the connected hosts has low connection speed, the connection speed for other hosts will be also reduced.
