Winmate announces the release of a series of industrial panel computers based on the Tiger Lake generation Intel Core i5-1135G7 CPU. In addition to the 11th Gen Intel processor, these computers have some more interesting features.
The M Series HMI is marketed as a HMI (Human-Machine Interface) solution. But this should not be confused with the term "operator panel". Operator panels or any automation terminals always have some sort of a programmable logic element, but in this case the series is a "classic" modern solution in the family of panel computers. The term HMI, in this case, means a flexible solution with sufficient functionality to be used as a control and visualization element as part of any automated system.
The individual models are named as following: R12ITWS-MHM2, R15ITWS-MHC3, R17ITWS-MHM1, R19ITWS-MHA1, W22ITWS-MHA3 and W24ITWS-MHA2.
The main difference between these computers is the screen diagonal, while the hardware is identical. Screen sizes are available from 12" to 23.8". Accordingly, the diagonal size affects the properties of the screen, namely resolution, brightness, contrast, etc., each model has its own characteristics.
The new series computers are a flexible modular solution. The hardware module and the screen have a special connector that allows, if necessary, to change the screen diagonal both for a bigger one or for a smaller one.
A distinctive feature of the hardware module is its function of quick access to the main elements: memory, storage, PCIe modules. It is easy to replace any element if nesessary.
The display is made using True Flat technology, i.e. it is not only absolutely flat, but also has IP65 dust and water protection rate. The tactile input-output device for all models is a capacitive touch screen with multi-touch function.

Winmate's M Series HMI panel computers are among the first industrial panel solutions based on Intel Core Tiger Lake processors. The tendency for the industrial segment of the market to lag behind the consumer segment by 2-3 years is from the past. Progress does not stand still, which is perfectly shown by the release of the M Series HMI series, even in the conditions of a deficit of the component base in the world.
