Nexcom has presented a new embedded computer VTC-7252-7C4IP, specially designed for transportation and outdoor use.
VTC-7252-7C4IP is powered by 9th Gen Intel Core i7-9700TE CPU (8 cores, up to 3.80 GHz with Turbo boost), which can perform the most complex computing tasks and run demanding applications.

The new PC is CE, FCC, E-mark (E13), MIL-STD-810G and IP65 certified to ensure it will withstand dust, moisture and temperature extremes in extreme environments.
On the back side of VTC-7252-7C4IP you can find 4 Ethernet ports with support for PoE devices.
When connected to IP cameras, the new VTC model can act as a video surveillance system server, or, for example, with specialized software it can recognize state license plates of vehicles.
The VTC-7252-7C4IP computer has GPS, discrete I/O ports, and CAN 2.0B bus with optional OBDII support. In addition to tracking vehicle location, the VTC-7252-7C4IP can be connected to the vehicle's on-board system via the CAN bus and get complete information about the vehicle: the status of electronic systems and sensors, load capacity, temperature, fuel amount, etc.
All data can be stored locally on drives of your VTC-7252-7C4IP, or remotely. The embedded PC can be connected to 5G, LTE and Wi-Fi networks with optional modules, which will allow a dispatcher to remotely monitor the car, contact the driver if necessary, and even turn on the computer via SMS if it is turned off (using special software).
Thanks to its robust design, VTC-7252-7C4IP can be operated not only in vehicles, but also directly in the open air. The PC can be used, for example, for round-the-clock traffic monitoring, real-time streaming video recording, license plate recognition, traffic navigation, information and advertising systems and other projects.
