ICOP Technology Corp. announced the release of VEX2-6427, a new CPU board based on the newest VEX2 processor. The board is equipped with a Vortex86EX2 processor with a clock frequency of 600MHz and has a soldered RAM up to 1GB.
But the most key feature of this CPU board is support for up to 10 COM ports. In addition, the board offers the following I/O ports:
Rear panel:
- One COM port
- One Fast Ethernet port
- Four USB ports
- VGA interface
Additionally, you can connect:
- Nine COM ports
- Audio ports: Line-in/out, Mic-in
- Two CAN ports
- Two PS/2 ports
- Two I2C ports
Also, to expand communication capabilities, there are 2 miniPCIe slots soldered on the CPU board.
Like most ICOP boards, VEX2-6427 uses a SD slot to store information. The eMMC media type is optionally available.
In its basic version, the VEX2-6427 board can operate in the temperature range from -20 to + 70C. Wide temperature range of -40 to + 85C is available as an option.
