ICP DAS has released the new communication board PCIe-S142i with two isolated RS-422/485 ports for the PCI Express x1 bus. The PCIe-S142i board is suitable for organizing communication with various serial devices and I/O modules in industrial environments.
Each RS-422/485 port is independent of the other, has 3000 VDC optical isolation to protect internal circuits from overvoltages, and allows data transfer rates up to 921.6 kbps.
The PCIe-S142i board has a small footprint of 94 x 109 x 22mm and supports Windows XP/2003/2008/7/8/10 and Linux Kernel 2.4X ~ 4.15.
