PCC-1416 is an electronic CAM controller designed for replacing mechanical cam mechanisms. The device provides angle or position control without the use of mechanical elements, eliminating wear and noise, increasing equipment speed and synchronization accuracy. All operating parameters are configured using software, enabling rapid changes in process modes and reducing commissioning time.

Easy to configure and use

The controller has a high-resolution 4.3" color TFT touchscreen display, providing a clear and user-friendly interface. Screen pages are structured by function and display only the necessary information, simplifying parameter perception and reducing setup complexity. A virtual numeric keypad is used to enter angle and position values, ensuring fast and accurate data entry. CAM profile and output channel parameters can be copied, significantly reducing the time required for repetitive setup and commissioning works.

Flexible CAM profile structure

The PCC-1416 supports up to 8 CAM profiles, each of which includes up to 32 trigger zones with individual on/off parameters assigned to 16 output channels. This structure allows for flexible control logic configuration and quick switching between different process modes without changing the hardware configuration.

Output protection and emergency stop

The controller comes with a Start Input; without activation of which, the CAM output channels are disabled. This prevents unexpected output activation during equipment setup and testing. The Start Input can also be used as an emergency stop circuit, allowing for quick output shutdown and enhancing industrial safety.

Reliability, safety and precise management

The new model supports absolute encoders in binary and Gray code formats with a resolution of up to 12 bits (4096 steps, 0.08°), ensuring stable and repeatable operation in high-precision applications.

The controller features a teach-in mode based on the current encoder value, password protection for parameters, and a run enable input with an emergency stop function. Its industrial design with IP65 front panel protection ensures reliable operation in automated machines, assembly and packaging lines, as well as testing and process equipment.
