NEXCOM has released new fanless embedded computers NISE 109-E01 and NISE 109-E02 with Intel's next-generation Elkhart Lake architecture processors. The main differences between the two NISE 109 models are CPU performance and operating temperature.
The NISE 109-E01 is based on the 2-core Intel Atom x6211E CPU with a frequency of 1.3 GHz and can operate at temperatures from -20°C to 70°C, while the NISE 109-E02 has a faster 4-core Intel Celeron J6412 CPU and operates at temperature from -5°C to 55°C.
There are 2 video interfaces for image output: DisplayPort 1.4 which can produce an image with a resolution of 8K and a frequency of 60 Hz, as well as HDMI 1.4 with support for 4K resolution and 30 Hz frequency. In addition, the NISE 109 can optionally have a built-in LVDS interface, which can be used to connect a monitor and build a panel PC based on NISE 109 compact PC.
NISE 109 computers offer a standard choice of I/O interfaces: 2xGLAN, 6xUSB and 4xCOM. For expansion, an internal mini-PCIe slot is provided, which can be used to install various modules, such as: Wi-Fi, 3.5G/4G/LTE ones and others. A solid state drive for storage can be connected via a standard SATAIII port or via M.2 SATA/PCIe.
With a compact footprint of 185 x 131 x 54mm, support for Linux and Windows 10 IoT, and the latest generation of CPUs, you can ensure that solutions based on the new NISE 109-E01 and NISE 109-E02 PC will allow to create modern projects for automation, robotics and equipment monitoring that will not become obsolete over the next few years.
